Ş. was established as the first joint venture of Kibar Holding group with its Korean Partners, Hyundai Corp. and Posttrade Corp. that was incorporated under the trade-name of Assan Hyundai Çelik Ürünleri San. Ve Tic. A.Ş. (Assan Hyundai Steel Products Industry and Trade Company Inc.) in 1992.

     Assan Steel Co Inc is serving to Turkish Flat Steel market as steel service center for flat steel products, annual business volume is about 200.000 tons for cold rolled coils sheets, hot rolled coils sheets, galvanized coils sheets, tinplate coils sheets, electrical steel, shipbuilding steel plates.    Main clients are from  white goods industry, construction industry, pipe and profile producers, electrical appliance/fixture industry, automotive and auto spare parts  industry.  Assan Steel Co inc also export considerable amounts to  Middle East, Gulf countries, Northern Africa and KKTC (Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus).

       In order to maintain its position in the market and to offer to its customers the materials needed in the market, our company has started to sell the materials stored in stock in Iskenderun region as well as stored in Erdemir in Ereğli region in addition to the warehouses and depots in Tuzla Assan Plants.
